Jose Rodriguez and Jocelyn (Moana) Rodriguez, my cousins, are living through every parent’s worst nightmare. Early this morning, a devastating house fire took the lives of two of their beautiful, compassionate, and smart children, along with their beloved pets. Their home and all their belongings are gone. Jose, Jocelyn, and one of their daughters are currently in the ICU, fighting for their lives. The other two children are safe and with me, but our entire family’s world has been turned upside down in a single morning.

I'm writing this with a heavy heart. Jocelyn has passed away today. She is now with Baby Jose and Jace.

My cousin has went from a family of 7 to 4 in just six weeks. Idk how he's still standing after everything he has been through. I pray god gives him the strength and comfort that no human can.

This tragedy has left the Rodriguez family facing unimaginable loss and hardship. They are grieving the loss of not one, but two precious children, while also trying to recover from serious injuries and the trauma of losing their home. The road ahead will be long and difficult, and they need all the support they can get to begin to heal and rebuild.
