Our family is navigating an unimaginable tragedy. On New Year’s Eve, our beloved mother, Ruthie Rivera-Montalvo, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73 following a sudden medical emergency.

Ruthie was a woman of immense heart and dedication. For years, she poured her energy into the local schools, where her love for working with children touched countless lives. She was a traveler at heart, a devoted mother to her two sons, and the light of her husband’s life for 55 beautiful years.

Why We Need Your Help

Because this loss was so sudden, our parents did not have the savings or life insurance in place to cover the high costs of a funeral and memorial service. The financial responsibility has now fallen on her two sons.
