Support for the Rivera family

On October 25, 2017 my stepfather Jose was involved in a traumatic accident at work where he was pinned between a semi truck and a loading dock. Thank God he is still with us today, but he did suffer a bowel perforation as well as trauma to his pelvis. He will be off work for at least three months in the process of rehabilitating his body back to its full function. My stepfather is the main provider to our household, which includes my mother, their two children-5&9, myself and my daughter. I work and go to school to support myself, my daughter, and also contribute to our monthly housing expenses. My mother works also and is in school, but neither of us works enough or makes enough to compensate the difference of what will be lacking from my stepfathers pay. He will have disability income that is a portion of his typical pay. He asked me to start this fund and share it for anyone who is willing to donate and help us raise a little money to cover about a month of cost and keep us afloat with the difference in income that typically comes and in. Both my mother and I are making life changes to be support the family and also him as needed while he recovers. I know that he is worried about finances and we are trying to help take that extra load off so that he can focus on healing as much as possible.
