Last week, the Rittershaus family received devastating news: their youngest son, Axel, aged 2.5, was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL), a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Axel is currently undergoing treatment at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, with a treatment plan that will require 5-6 months of chemotherapy.

This is an incredibly challenging time for the Rittershaus family, especially as Robyn is pregnant with their third child, due in June. Robyn will need to take additional leave to care for Axel during his treatments. On top of the stress of Axel’s diagnosis, they are also commuting back and forth, caring for their oldest son, Colton, at home, trying to provide a sense of normalcy for him. The emotional toll on the family is already heavy, and the financial strain is mounting quickly.

Scott and Robyn are two of the most caring and generous people you could meet. They have always gone out of their way to support others in need, and now it’s our turn to help them in their time of need.
