It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Abshire. Richard worked at Cajun for many years and was a true friend, teammate, and a die-hard pile driver. Starting his career in the field as a pile driver, Richard worked his way up to Area Superintendent by the age of 32.

Richard made an impact on everyone he met by bringing a positive, hard-working attitude every day. His humor and jokes while in the field were unmatched. Having made such an impact within Cajun and the pile driving community, he will be extremely missed by all that knew him.

The Cajun Family and Pile Driving community are hoping to use this page to cover any funeral home and burial costs for his family. Any contribution helps ease this heavy burden, and we are deeply grateful for your love and support.
