The Poore family is facing an unimaginable loss after their 14-year-old son, Mason, was tragically taken from them in an accident. He was riding his bike when he was struck by a pickup truck and, heartbreakingly, did not survive. This tragedy has left the family and everyone who loves them in deep shock and sorrow. As someone close to the family, I know firsthand how much Mason meant to his parents, siblings, and everyone around him. He was also my daughter’s brother, making this loss even more personal and devastating for us all.

Mason had always been a dedicated wrestler, but recently he found a new love for basketball as well. He was passionate, hardworking, and brought so much joy to his family and friends through his sports and his spirit. The Poore family has always been the first to step up and help anyone in need. Mason’s mother, Jamie, is known for helping with other people’s children—whether it’s transporting them or supporting them at sports events. His dad, Zac, is always working with kids to help them excel in wrestling, and Mason’s older brother, Caden, shares that same commitment to helping others. Their kindness and generosity have touched so many lives in the community.
