UPDATE: Thank you for all the support y'all have shown Jerry and Bridgette these past few days. They have plenty of clothes to choose from, some cleaning supplies and cash/gift cards. All of your love and prayers have energized the Pirtles as they face this challenge. They are in the process of securing a rental home, setting up remediation and rebuild, all of which would not be possible without your kindness. Insurance will help but the paperwork and red tape takes forever. Please keep them in your prayers as they rebuild for the second time!
Tuesday afternoon, the Pirtle family on Lake Village Drive suffered the devastating loss of their home to fire. Thankfully, everybody was able to get out unharmed, but the road ahead will be very difficult to rebuild. They are not new to rebuilding as they lost everything in the Harvey flood as well, but that does not make this any easier. Weston Lakes has always been so supportive of their community, and I know that many people want to help. At the moment, financially is the greatest need until insurance kicks in. Great or small, any donation is appreciated and will go directly to them. Thank you so much in advance!
By the way, if you have clothing or donations for home goods, please drop them off at the Kugler residence, 4706 Lake Village Drive. They lost everything, so whatever you have is greatly appreciated. Anything that they do not use will be donated to another non-profit.
Please watch the Weston Lakes residence page on Facebook for updates.
