Medical Supplies for Papua New Guinea
Donation protected
Dear friends,
I am entering my 4th week in Papua New Guinea. This is one of the neediest places I have ever seen, with some of the nicest people. Despite our best efforts, manpower alone is only helping a few. Some of my pediatric patients have died needlessly for lack of equipment and supplies. The need here is desperate. The hospital is severely lacking in basic supplies that we in the United States take for granted, such as linens, thermometers, blood pressure cuffs and things to keep the children occupied while they are in the hospital for extended periods. I know we can’t save the world, but if you could help me leave the staff and patients here better equipped, with hope for a better future, it would be greatly appreciated. All money raised will go directly to purchasing medical supplies and equipment for the Kimbe Provincial hospital in Papau New Guinea.
