George and Dawn Pearson have been beloved members of our local community for decades. They built a beautiful life and home right here in Harrison, Idaho. Both their children attended Harrison elementary school and continued on through Kootenai High. Dawn has touched countless lives with her life changing hugs. She is also the face behind "Sunrise". Our local loveable clown. George has always been a steady leader for his family and ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Life here, in the lake shore town just wouldn't be the same without them.

George and Dawn experienced tragedy earlier this week, as they watched their home burn in a fire that took everything from them including all but one of their pets.

They tried vigilantly, alongside their grandson Edward, who resided with them, to put it out but were unsuccessful. As were the hard working firemen from several districts that were on scene that night.

George was transported to Kootenai medical center to receive care for smoke inhalation and had been treated and released the following day, thankfully.

However, they now face the aftermath. This is an overwhelming time that will come with many unknowns and unexpected expenses. We are asking our family, friends and community to help lift up these wonderful, loving people in their time of need.
