Supporting the Pearson Family.

Our hearts are absolutely broken for the Pearson family, who have recently suffered the unimaginable loss of their beloved son, Gunnar.

Gunnar was making memories with his family during the Memorial Day holiday, when a boating accident tragically took his life. He leaves behind his beloved long time partner, Kayla, parents, Jennifer and Gary Pearson, brother, Colby Pearson, and many family and friends.

Gunnar was a caring individual whose friendly disposition invited everyone to befriend him. He loved running track, his country, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. His sudden passing has created an immeasurable void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.

Gunnar was a lifeguard on Ship Bottom beaches, a graduate of Barnegat High School, a member of the National Guard (more recently an army reservist), and most importantly an active member of the community. He was polite and respectful with a sense of humor and generous spirit that are unmatched.

As the family navigates this profound loss, we are coming together to help ease the financial pressures of medical expenses, household bills and cost of a celebration of life to be held at a future time.

The beneficiary of this fundraiser are his parents, Jennifer and Gary Pearson.
