As many of you know, our sweet Dawson had surgery on 6/12 to repair a VPI. Dawson was born with a cleft palate that was repaired when he was 9 months old, but unfortunately his palate did not grow with him creating a VPI (Velopharyngeal insufficiency). His surgery was successful, but has been followed with complications that have him back in the hospital again.

He is currently being treated for sepsis and GI issues. This comes in addition to an expected repeat surgery next week. Travel back and forth to Jackson, eating and living out of the hospital for weeks, as well as the items needed for his NG tube and medical care have been an added financial pressure to their family.
