Support for the Palmateer Family

On Sunday February 20th David Palmateer, 53, passed away suddenly in his sleep. He leaves behind his wife, business partner, and best friend Sara, as well as his three beloved children Michael, Ashley, and Zachary. His unexpected death has left the family devastated.

With all the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens, especially given the nature of Dave and Sara’s business. Ongoing restaurant expenses with no income during this time have created a large additional financial strain. In addition, Dave’s daughter Ashley has autism and requires ongoing therapy, and one of Dave’s main goals was to ensure that she would be taken care of for life.

Many of you have expressed your desire to help Sara and the family through these times. One very impactful way to honor Dave would be to contribute to Ashley’s future stability, as well as short-term business expenses so that Sara can keep DeVine Bistro afloat while allowing her time to grieve. We’ve set up this fund as a means to make that happen, and any contributions will go directly to Sara. Thank you so much for your continued support!
