The Oakley family (Sam, Lindsay, Amelia & Sammy) are once again facing an unimaginable challenge. In 2024, Sammy was diagnosed with grade 3 ependymoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. After months of grueling treatment, Sammy was in remission for just under 2 years, and the family hoped for a return to normal life. But this week, Sam & Lindsay learned that Sammy’s cancer has returned and spread.

The Oakleys have not yet told their children about Sammy's cancer recurrence—choosing instead to spend as much quality time together as possible right now, before the kids' lives are changed forever. They are focused on filling their days with love, hope, and making every moment count.

As the family prepares for the difficult road ahead, they will need support for meals, medical bills, travel expenses, medications, time off work, and more. Your generosity will help ease their burdens and allow them to focus on best supporting Sammy, Amelia, and one another during this incredibly trying time.
