Tyler Joseph Norman, 19, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, left this world suddenly and tragically on December 6, 2025, after being struck by a drunk driver. He passed instantly, but the love we have for him never will. Tyler was born on April 21, 2006, and from the moment he arrived, he brought a quiet light into our lives. He wasn’t the loudest or the flashiest, but he had a presence that made people feel safe, seen, and cared for. His kindness was steady, his heart was gentle, and his strength showed up in quiet, powerful ways.
Tyler was dedicated in everything he did. As a varsity swimmer at Wesley Chapel High School, he pushed through early mornings and long practices with determination that amazed us. Earning his black belt in Taekwondo was another reflection of the discipline and focus that shaped who he was. Tyler graduated with honors and had already earned his Associate of Arts degree while still in high school. He was preparing to begin business school and was excited about the future he was building. He had dreams, goals, and a life unfolding ahead of him.
But what we will miss most about Tyler can’t be measured by accomplishments. It’s the way he showed love without needing attention. The way he protected his little brother, Dylan, with a heart full of devotion. The way he quietly supported the people he cared about. The way his humor slipped out softly but perfectly. The way he carried himself with a goodness that you could feel just by being near him.
Tyler is survived by his mother, April Joy, his father, Andrew, and his younger brother, Dylan. Their world has been forever changed by his loss, and their hearts will never be the same. He is also loved and remembered by many family members and friends who were touched by his gentle spirit. As we face this unimaginable grief, we hold onto the love he gave us and the memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. Memorial service details will be shared in the coming days.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering funeral expenses, legal fees, and counseling services for the Norman family. These costs are overwhelming, and the last thing the Normans should have to worry about right now is how to pay for the support and care they need. Your generosity can help ease their burden and allow them to focus on healing together.
Any contribution, big or small, would help the Norman family try to piece their lives back together and support them as they navigate this unimaginable time. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to show the Normans that they are not alone, and that their community stands with them in their time of need.
