Asking friends and family for help doesn't come easy for most. But today we are all blessed help the Nelson Family after their home experienced severe damage from the "100 year flood" that hit so many in our area.

After spending years building their family a safe, comfortable and beautiful home. They fought so hard for hours to get and keep water out. Unfortunately they lost that battle and sustained damage to their home. Thankfully they DID have flood insurance so the mechanical items that keep them warm, fed and clean will be replaced. But so much more will need to be replaced and repaired out of pocket. This us where we all come into play.

Nature while beautiful can also be very cruel. Kat and Jake are eternally grateful their family is safe and the home can be repaired. They are also so very thankful for friends and family that have already spent time hauling water out, borrowing equipment to get work done, offering food to help feed them and for friends and family that opened their homes keeping everyone safe, warm and dry.
