On Tuesday April 7, 2026, unimaginable tragedy struck the Nazimok household as our beloved father, Alex Nazimok, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away after what was supposed to be a routine post-surgery doctors appointment to change his leg cast to a boot for his ankle that was injured playing pickleball in February.

Our family is currently waiting on results from the autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Alex was a active and lively man with no known health issues.

On top of grieving the loss of our father and husband, we are now left without a means of bringing in income, as our father was the sole supporter of my mother, her parents, my brother, and myself.

With the death being so unexpected, we are left paying out of pocket for my late father’s surgery, hospital stay, funeral expenses, on top of maintaining the regular monthly bills with no source of income.

Both grandparents that live with my parents are too old and sick to work, and my mother can’t pick up a job because she is their full-time caretaker. The weight of the world has come crashing down on my

mother, who is forced to grieve and make difficult financial decisions that will impact the rest of her and her parents lives only hours after her husband unexpectedly passed away.
