Scianna and Nicholas Myles, along with their three daughters—Ellie (6), Eva (4), and Emi (2)—are my best friends and some of the most generous people I know. They have always been there for others, offering kindness and support whenever it was needed. Now, they are facing a difficult time and could use the same compassion from their community.

On June 12th, Nicholas was rushed to the ER for what was thought to be a routine appendectomy. During surgery, doctors discovered a hardened mass around his appendix and had to open him up fully. They found that his appendix was perforated with an abscess, and Nicholas ended up losing about a foot of his intestines. Nicholas will be in the hospital for at least a week and out of work for at least 6 weeks. FMLA will only cover 24 hours of pay per week, while he normally works 40 hours plus nearly 20 hours of overtime to provide for their family. This unexpected medical emergency has left the family with significant challenges as Nicholas begins his recovery.

The funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, recovery expenses, and helping Scianna care for their daughters while Nicholas is out of work. Support will also provide food and daily necessities for the kids, easing the burden on the family during this difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this family.
