Since Ben's passing, his family has had many requests for "how to help".  This has been such a blessing and words cannot express our appreciation for all your kind words and gestures.

I have started this fund in order to assist Gina and her boys in the upcoming months.  Even with medical insurance, the bills are coming in, and Gina has put her practice on hold during this period.  Their fixed expenses obviously still remain.

I would love to see them have a "comfort" period of time where she can focus on getting through this terrible loss and be available for their sons without the weight of financial concerns looming.

I want to be clear - this was MY idea. Gina was reluctant.  Both she and Ben would never want to come across as asking for help.  However, when I expressed to her that so many friends want to show their love and support in some way, and with the COVID and other factors in play, they cannot directly provide help, she agreed to let me start this fund. This would be one option to allow others to support her.

Please do not feel obligated at all.  Some have already shown such love and support through meals, flowers, cards and phone calls.  All are so appreciated.
