Support for the Mowles Family

To know Meredith Mowles is to love her. Her compassion and authentic love for others is undeniable and over the past few years she has shown her determination and warrior mentality, too. She has been a support to so many of us, and now it is our turn to support her as she fights cancer again.
Many have asked how to best support the Mowles family during this time, and so I've created this space as a means to do that for them. As some of you may be aware, Meredith was diagnosed with a more advanced stage of cancer in October. This requires a different approach to treatment and right now the biggest way we can support Meredith is through financial giving. Meredith will be traveling to Boston frequently over the next year (right now it's looking like 3-4 flights in 2023 at least- possibly more) to receive treatment and care. In addition to flights, the Mowles family will have medicine and doctor bills to take care of throughout this treatment. Meredith has also had to change her lifestyle which has resulted in a brand new diet and workout change- both of which are adding expenses to the Mowles' monthly bills. Donations made to this site will help Meredith and Christian meet these financial needs over the next year!
If you are able to give in additional forms, here are a few other ways to help:
- Due to Meredith's specific dietary needs, homemade meals are not the best way to serve her family right now. Rather, gift cards to Food Lion, 14 Carrot, or Target could be used to go towards groceries!
- Meredith has a Delta Skymiles card. If you have SkyMiles available that you do not intend on using, her card number can be given to you to donate in that way.
- Meredith will have to drive to Charlotte to catch flights to Boston and to Charleston for appointments with her Orthopedic Oncologist, so gas cards are another way to help out!
- Meredith and Christian would like to maintain as normal of a routine as possible. If you would like to give gift cards for fun family excursions (movie theater gift cards, PlantHouse Columbia gift cards, AR Workshop gift cards, etc.) or for fun date nights that do not revolve around food, those are other great ways to support the Mowles family.

Thank you so much for all your love and support throughout the past several years! We have been incredibly blessed by your presence in our lives. First and foremost, we ask for your prayers and positive thoughts. Prayers for strength and healing. Prayers for peace and wisdom. Prayers for our kids and families. Prayers that this world is eradicated of cancer very soon because ultimately until that happens so many more will be affected by this awful disease.
Many of you have given so much to our family in the last few years; please do NOT feel obligated to give anymore. Prayers and love are our most valued needs. However, many of you asked how you could help and we feel so incredibly supported once again. Thank you for being the light our girls need to see. You are the helpers and we are so blessed that we don't have to look very far for those helpers. We are thankful for each of you and for all you have done and continue to do for us.
