I never imagined I’d be writing something like this for someone I know and care about. Kevin and Alexandria Moran experienced the unimaginable during a brutal winter storm, a fire started through their chimney and in a matter of moments, everything was gone. Not just a house, but the place where memories were made, where holidays were celebrated, where life felt safe and familiar.
This family didn’t lose “things.” They lost their sense of normal, their comfort, and their security overnight. And they’re now facing the middle of winter with almost nothing left.
Why We’re Raising Money
We’re raising money to help our friends rebuild their lives from the ground up. The fire didn’t just destroy their home. It took clothing, furniture, personal keepsakes, and the basics we all take for granted. Right now, they need immediate help. We do not know if and what insurance will cover and that's scary.
This is one of those moments where community truly matters. No amount is too small. Every dollar helps put warm clothes on backs, food on the table, and hope back into a situation that feels overwhelming. If you’ve ever leaned on a neighbor, been helped in a tough season, or believe in showing up when it counts, this is that moment.
Let’s remind them they’re not facing this alone. Together, we can help turn a devastating loss into a story of support, compassion, and community strength.
Thank you all for considering,
Veronica Paulk
