Eric and Rachel Montanez, along with their son Eroq, have been a cherished part of our lives ever since our boys became best friends through school and wrestling. Eric and Rachel are two of the kindest, most gracious people I have ever met, always welcoming our family with open arms and genuine warmth. Their love for each other was truly inspiring, and their devotion to their son and those around them has touched so many lives.

On Monday night, March 2nd, 2026, Eric and Rachel were out on one of their beloved nightly motorcycle rides when tragedy struck. A car hit them at a busy intersection, taking Eric’s life at the scene and leaving Rachel in the hospital, facing an uncertain and difficult recovery. Their son Eroq, who has now lost his father, is by his mother’s side, hoping and praying for her to come home soon. In the midst of this heartbreak, the family is now confronted with immediate financial challenges—medical bills, living expenses, and the daunting reality of managing without Eric’s income as they begin this long healing journey.
