Yashira Moncada is an Oviedo Police Officer and has been serving her community for the last five years.  She married her best friend, Brian, whom she first met in the eighth grade.  They have two beautiful daughters that are both under five years old.  

Brian has been struggling with an illness since last year, and lost his fight to stay alive on the morning of February 12th.  He is a United States Navy veteran and was in the Navy Reserves at the time of his death.  

Yashira and her two daughters are going to have to go on without their husband and father.  Yashira is now a single mother and no longer has the care and support that Brian was able to provide to his young family.  Yashira has exhausted her leave time, due to having to care for her daughter's and Brian when he was hospitalized for long periods of time.  If you can, please support her and help her with the bills and expenses she will now have to take care of on her own.
