Hi, I'm Kellie Swift and I'm starting this GoFundMe for our dear friends Harry and Brandy Misenheimer.

Life has been rough for so many, and they are no exception. They've been inundated with health issues and with that always comes financial difficulties stemming from missed work, medical visits, commuting costs, and now rent hikes.

After taking financial hits like this, you begin to really notice your grocery bills and household expenses.

Harry has been a dear friend/brother of mine since the mid 1970's. So many of my fun growing up stories include Harry. Surfing, punk rock, ditching school, Days of Our Lives, Motley Crue, and squeezing four people on a tandem bike. I want to do this for him... I feel I owe him.

The love of his life is Brandy and she has kept him solid and grounded for 15 years now. She is selfless and always in line to help me with my garden, feed me, and listen to my woes.

They have always stood up to help others and never asked for a thing. I know it's hard to ask for help for yourself, but I can do hard things so I'm asking.

Please help however you can. Sharing this post is invaluable and any monetary donation you're able to help with is appreciated.

Donations will be used for food; gas; household needs (cleaning supplies, TP, shampoos, etc); and other unforeseen expenses.

UPDATE!

We have met our initial goal and endless thanks to all of our supportive friends that have shared, donated, and lifted the Misenheimers. Feelings of love and warmth truly comfort the soul.

I have increased the goal in case anyone is able to still contribute toward mounting expenses. Brandy has exhausted her leave and many of our contributions enable her to be home for Harry, especially on particularly hard days. Monies will also be used for food expenses and personal necessities connected with Harry's illnesses.
