Hello friends.
As many of you know, Sue McPherson was diagnosed with lung cancer this summer and has been undergoing treatment. Though initially her oncology team was hopeful, she has been losing ground in her battle and now requires round the clock care. Her daughter Brook has taken on the difficult role of primary caregiver for an ailing parent. Though she has the support of her friends, her mother's increasing needs and fragile state make it impossible for Brook to work. Between lost work hours and the mounting expenses associated with Sue's care, Brook and Sue are in need of help to get them through this painful and strenuous time.
Whether you know them from a Great Expectations Fundraiser Gaming Show, or from Sue's days of Bartending at Ye Ole Pickle Factory, or from any other walk of life , you know that they have a special mother/ daughter relationship. Both quick to tell you their thoughts, intelligent and insightful, they have always been a duo that everyone likes to know. Their many years of taking in and caring for horses and other animals on the farm has been a big part of their story. From the days when they were rescuing and rehabbing horses, to just this fall when they brought home a stray kitten from the hospital parking lot during an ER visit, they have put so much of their livelihood into caring for animals, and now they need some of that kindness reflected back on them.
If you can contribute, they would greatly appreciate your generosity in this trying time.
