In 2017, Karen's daughter (Kadane) was diagnosed with Kidney Failure. After doing 2 years of Dialysis, our family was so elated to hear that Dane (The father) was able to be a donor for his daughter. They eventually did the surgery and everything went well. Kadane is now 20 years old, with a strong and healthy kidney. She has to take medications for the rest of her life to keep the kidney functioning. These medications are very costly and this has been very hard for our family.
Karen Mckay, A loving wife, mother of 3 children, and a grandmother was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. She has been doing chemotherapy. This also has been very costly and a lot to process for our family. The funds raised from this campaign will directly support The Mckay's Family and help cover medical expenses.
