Dear Family and Friends,
Since February 9, 2021, our sweet and wonderful friend, Lisa McElhenie, has been through many medical travesties and diagnosed with severe medical conditions. Lisa suffered six strokes due to Moya Moya disease (a rare, progressive cerebrovascular disorder caused by blocked arteries at the base of the brain) and Stage 3 Uterine cancer which has spread to the Colon. During this time, Lisa has been under round-the-clock care and moved between multiple hospitals and skilled nursing care facilities.
Many of you may be aware or are just now finding out how truly serious Lisa’s medical condition is; she is in a dire situation and desperately fighting for her life. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for lifting Lisa up in prayer.
On behalf of the McElhenies – Lisa, Travis, Weston, and Briana, we have set up a GoFundMe account to help offset the increasingly exorbitant costs of medical and living expenses. The family's wishes are to bring Lisa home with the care of an onsite nurse. Between all of us, let us help raise funds to be a beacon of light to help this family that we know and love as they try to make it through one of their darkest times. A donation of any denomination and sharing of this post can help ease some of the enduring financial strain they face daily.
