Support For The Matas Family During Jimmy's Road to Recovery

Early on Tuesday 5/7/24, my friend Jimmy Matas suffered a heart attack due to two blocked arteries. The doctors performed emergency surgery that morning to fix one of the blockages and his second surgery took place on Thursday 5/9/24. While the surgeries went well, he had an anaphylactic reaction to the contrast dye that they used in the IV and he ended up spending the night in the ICU.

While Jimmy is expected to make a full recovery, the Matas family is now left to deal with the ripple effects of this unfortunate and unexpected incident between medical bills, time out of work and other stressors. As many of you know, Jimmy is an extremely involved father and a pillar in Vermont wrestling (and beyond!) who spends countless hours doing so much for others. I'd like our community to rally around Jimmy, Nancy, Anthony and Natalie and ensure that they experience as little further hardship as possible.
