I lost my second girl Leela very unexpectedly on September 18th.

Just months after Po passed, leela was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma. She seemed to be her normal self with a healthy appetite and energy, but symptoms, steroids, and blood work took us the our vet and emergency through the summer. Just days ago, I knew something was wrong. I rushed her to the vet, but was only given one option even emergency surgery didn’t provide a good prognosis.

I had to let my girl go and I didn’t have time to give the goodbye I would have hoped for her. I have peace knowing she doesn’t have to miss her big sissy anymore.

I hate to be here asking for support again, but her sudden illness and rapid decline have put me a few thousand in the red. I appreciate any support be it monetary or emotional. I was hoping I’d have more years with Leela as she helped ease the loss of Po, but I find myself feeling their absence and even Juno has felt the change.

never did I think I’d lose both my cats within 4 months of each other, but at least they are reunited.
