My name is Niki Lightfoot

On April 4, 2026, my family experienced a sudden and heartbreaking loss. My father, Darwin Lightfoot, passed away after a tragic motorcycle accident in California. Riding his motorcycle was something he truly loved it brought him peace and happiness but tragically, it’s also what took him from us far too soon.

My dad was more than just a father he was the foundation of our family. He leaves behind three children who loved him deeply and depended on him in so many ways. He was a Navy veteran, an incredible cook, and one of the hardest working people I’ve ever known. He was strong, selfless, and stubborn in the best way when it came to protecting and providing for his family. To us, he was a superhero someone who never let anything bring him down.

His passing has left us not only emotionally devastated but also facing unexpected financial hardship. As a hardworking family, we’ve always done our best to support ourselves, but this sudden loss has made it incredibly difficult to keep up with expenses. We are currently struggling to cover our mortgage, funeral costs, and the expenses required to bring my dad home to Las Vegas, Nevada.
