Hello, we are the friends of the Lemoncito family and we are fundraising funds to help with the day-to-day bills and essentials to help support the Family.

It has been an incredibly difficult time for the family since Aileen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma - a rare, highly aggressive form of brain cancer, back in September 2025.

Aileen had one major operation back soon after the initial diagnosis to try and remove the tumour. From then on, numerous rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy as part of her ongoing treatment.

Due to the effects of the treatment, Aileen needs to be at home and requires full care and attention.

Her husband, Jojie, has taken on the biggest responsibility of looking after Aileen at home and making the decision to take indefinite leave from work and become her full time carer. They also have two daughters, one currently in university and the other still in sixth form.

Because of this, the last couple of months and the months still to come will make it hard for the family to make ends meet, from ongoing bills, to getting basic necessities.

Due to the therapy, Aileen requires a lot of assistance to move around the home and the family are looking into making their home more accessible for her to move around the house - like building a downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Aileen is a dedicated nurse, working for the NHS at the John Radcliffe and Churchill hospital for over 25 years. An active member of her Church community, with strong faith, and a loving wife, mother and friend.

The family greatly appreciates all your prayers, help and support, no matter how big or small.
