The Layosa family is a part of our Bridgeport, Connecticut community, and their son attends Bridgeport International Academy. Earlier this week, their lives were turned upside down by a devastating apartment fire that destroyed or rendered unusable everything in their building. Thankfully, the family is safe, but they are now facing the daunting challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch in the middle of winter.

Right now, the Layosas are staying with another family in our community and relying on the Red Cross for support. However, the loss of their home and belongings has left them in urgent need of help. The money raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward replacing essentials, covering immediate needs, and helping them secure new housing. Our hope is to provide the Layosa family with the assistance they need to recover their material goods and regain stability during this difficult time.
