Dear friends and family of Derick & Megan,

After a long and hopeful journey to grow their family through IVF, we were so excited to celebrate with Derick and Megan the arrival of their son, Jaxson. On Saturday, October 11th, during a routine scheduled induction at 41 weeks, both mom and baby experienced severe distress, leading to an emergency C-section and additional surgery. Both Megan and Jaxson were life lined to Hershey Medical Center. While Megan is now stable, she faces a long road to recovery after extensive surgery. Devastatingly, Jaxson experienced severe brain trauma at birth and based on the gravity of the current medical prognosis, our hope rests in praying for a miracle.

As Derick and Megan navigate the days ahead, they are holding tightly to their faith and the power of our God.
