Support for the LaManque Family

Our family has started this Go Fund Me for my sister, Ahbra Curtis-LaManque, and her family.

On May 25th my brother-in-law Kevin was involved in a life threatening accident at work, in which he was run over by a forklift. Kevin sustained injuries from his thighs down, the most severe being multiple breaks to one foot and ankle and crushing injury to both feet. Kevin is currently completely immobile and requires full time care.

As of last week his diagnosis is 12 months for a full recovery, with at least 4 months of care before he will be able to get around the house and manage his own basic needs.

Ahbra is providing all of Kevin’s care as well as looking after their two children, making it impossible to work more than a few hours per week during the coming months. Unfortunately, workers compensation only provides two thirds of Kevin’s regular income, he will not be able to return to work until some time next spring.

My sister and Kevin are always very giving to both family and friends, and never expect anything in return. It would mean so much to our family if they could have a little financial security during Kevin’s recovery.
