Hi!
I'm Jo, and I'm setting up this fund as a friend of the Kyembas (with their permission) to help them during this season when they could use extra prayer and practical support.
Some will know that on 30th March, Jacob (Jacs) had a horrible accident at the bakery where he works, where his arm got pulled into some machinery. He was flown by air ambulance to the Major Trauma Unit in Stoke, where he underwent two surgeries (thankfully successful) and faces a long recovery once discharged.
Whilst we have free medical care in the UK and thankfully they don't need to pay for any of his treatment, anyone who has been through a season like this knows there are a lot of extra costs involved for the family. This GoFundMe is to help relieve some of the financial pressure on them and make things easier for them during this season.
For example, it will help with costs of travel and parking for hospital visits and follow up appointments and procedures (Stoke is an hour away), child care where needed, extra items they will need around the home for Jacs recovery and comfort, extra flexibility with their budget to make day to day life easier (or for meals on the go when they're back and forth to Stoke), and more.
Thank you for reading and considering a donation. And please keep praying for them all!
