It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the passing of sweet Ilona Lucinda Kruse.
For months, Ilona courageously fought a battle that no child should ever have to face. Surrounded by the love of family, and an incredible medical team, she endured countless procedures, long hospital stay , and the uncertainty of waiting for a life-saving heart transplant. Through it all, Ilona showed remarkable strength, resilience, and a spirit that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was beautiful inside and out.
Despite every effort and every hope, Ilona passed away on June 6th, leaving an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her.
As Max, Jess and Jameson and the rest of the family navigate this unimaginable loss, they are facing not only overwhelming grief but also significant financial burdens from medical expenses, travel costs, time away from work, and upcoming funeral and memorial arrangements.
