It is a very easy for all of us to take our good health for granted and say it won't happen to me. But when we lose our health it is mentally, physically and financially devastating!
At 46 my sister in law is fighting the fight of her life and not many people have known about it until now. A little over Two Years ago Poli was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer and has spread to many areas throughout her body. With her quickly declining health she was released for her position after 14 years as the business manager from a well known dentistry in Pittsburgh. My brother Nick was laid off during that same time and was never able to return to work because of the around the clock care that his wife requires.
They have raised two fantastic boys Dimitri and Christos who are in their second and fourth year in college. The reason I am setting up this fund is that no one should have to go though the stress day to day wondering if they may lose everything they worked so hard for. They are a very humble family and have just about depleted all of their finances trying to keep Poli comfortable through her terrible illness and to keep both of their boys in school which is extremely important to both of them.

Contributing to this fund is the most useful form of support we all can offer them. Money raised will go straight towards their family expenses and resources to help them in any which way. A small contribution to this page not only provides tangible help, but exemplifies your faith in Poli and her family during this incredibly difficult times.
