Beloved friends of the Ko family,

Following a lung cancer diagnosis (Stage 3B), Mr. Sung Ko, sweet husband to Mi and loving father to Chi, needs his community’s support and love.

As Mi, Chi & Greg surround Sung in navigating doctor visits, testing/procedures, and care plans, and as bills are piling up, YOU ARE INVITED to journey together with the Ko family.

From Chi: "I feel like community, encouragement, support in any form, and prayers are what my family and I need right now. The prayers are working, so please, please keep praying. Even if you don’t typically pray or have never prayed, please throw up a prayer on behalf of my dad."

1) Protection for Sung during his appointments and procedures - especially 9 & 10 July: 
-9 July @ 1:30PM: Ultrasound on his liver to make sure there's no scarring on his liver​ ​
-10 July @ 9AM: Lung biopsy
-10 [email redacted]M: MRI on his brain, brain stem, and neck. The doctor wants to make sure he doesn’t also have throat or brain cancer

2) Miraculous healing for Sung, including comfort and relief from pain - and that the cancer would neither spread beyond  Stage 3B nor spread to his brain or throat

3) Skilled and empathetic medical personnel at every stop

4) Reliable Korean-English translation to advocate, ensure clarity and understanding

5) Comfort, peace, and rest including mental and emotional health for Mi, Chi and Greg

6) Financial blessing for meals, household bills, medicine and as needed, medical bills

7) Strong networks of supporters from Virginia to Brooklyn and beyond, to rally around Sung, Mi, Chi & Greg
