Our friend and retired colleague Kathy Kimball's husband, Steve, was diagnosed with terminal cancer in November. Their daughter, Karmen, has taken time off from college to come home and help care for him.

Kathy has brought in hospice as well as a night nurse to help make Steve as comfortable as possible. The cost for the care is considerably high for Kathy as she is the family’s sole financial provider.

The financial impact of hospice and a night nurse has taken an additional toll on Kathy and Karmen as they try to remain focused on the emotional care for their loving husband and father.

Any funds raised will help offset the costs of medical expenses as well as immediate needs for the family.
