On Sunday, January 25, 2026, the Karas family, members of our local community, experienced a house fire that caused significant damage to their home. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the family has been temporarily displaced and is now facing a long and uncertain recovery process. The Karas family has a child who attends Holicong Middle School, and many within the school community have reached out asking how they can help.

At this time, the family is staying in temporary accommodations while working with their insurance company and beginning the process of rebuilding. They have lost many of their belongings, including clothing, school supplies, and household essentials.
