Dear family and friends,

We are seeking your support to keep our son Xander in his mental health supportive living program. After what has probably been his most challenging year, and the past 5 months of inpatient and outpatient treatment, Xander has been accepted to a fantastic mental health supportive living program here in LA, The Last House

The good news: Xander has been in the program a month and is finally doing well and finding a path forward. He lives in a house with about 8 other young men going through similar challenges along with live-in support staff and in house therapeutic programming as well as outpatient group therapy. He is experiencing a much needed sense of belonging, fellowship, and support while living in a structured environment. They have freedom to come and go within reason, go on many group outings, and get independent living skills training. They would like him to stay for the next 4 months.

The challenge: Our insurance covers all of the treatment except the $1500/month living costs. We are turning to our village to help us cover some of the cost and keep him in this excellent program. Like the semi colon symbol conveys, his story isn't over.
