Support for the Jurjens Family
Donation protected
After almost a year of fighting, we're heartbroken that Keith Jr. has lost his battle with cancer. The Jurjens family will need a lot of help getting through the coming months. They still have many of Keith's medical bills, funeral expenses, and will need to take time off of work to grieve. If you can, please considering donating to this loving family in their time of need. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
Here are some words written by Karina about her sweet brother, Keeter.
"To know Keith, to be his parent, his sister, his cousin, loved one, friend, fellow scout, was to know one of the most kind, compassionate, empathetic and loving souls the world has homed. His heart was frequently too big for his chest and too big for his head. His hugs were legendary. His laugh was infectious. His personality was big (I like to think I did a lot of that) as big as his buck toothed and slightly* crooked smile. Keith was a momma’s boy and dad’s best friend. It feels strange to talk about your twelve year old baby brother in the past tense. It feels strange to know I will never experience his hug again, nor experience his laugh. It’s a new kind of pain every hour, every minute. It makes it hard to see past the next second, let alone into the next day.
My family is so grateful for the outpouring of love, support and gentleness. It is overwhelming, but in a good way. We are coping. We ask that you continue to be patient with us as we grieve. We love you all so much, but our only ask for now is privacy. We will release information on services, receptions and other memorials for Keith as the details solidify. For now we are focusing on breathing and being together and remembering.
Forever & ever baby brother.
Love, us all."
