The weekend of January 25th Jeff started with flu like symptoms (vomiting and headache). Monday morning Leah took him to Urgent Care where Jeff had a spike in temperature and some confusion. They sent them directly to the Emergency room where his condition quickly declined. After a CT scan, Jeff went into cardiac arrest followed by a coma. Tests show that there is swelling in his brain pushing on the brain stem and the fluid is infected. The doctor says there is extensive brain damage and from here all we can do is pray for a miracle. The prognosis is grim but there is a sliver of hope that we are clinging to because Jeff is a fighter and has so much life he needs to live. Leah has been by his side the entire time and their precious son is still safe and kicking around in her womb (she is currently 30 weeks). Whatever the outcome of this heart wrenching situation, The Ince family will need our help. Thank you for loving on our families and for the prayers and support. More updates to come.
