Donation protected
On November 13th, Kierran Highton, oldest son of Greg Highton and Dawn Hemsley was involved in a snowmobile accident. He was airlifted to Edmonton where drs are monitoring Kierran closely for any issues surrounding the bleeding in his brain.
This fundraiser is for financial support for both Kierran and his family as they spend time in Edmonton by his side helping him heal.
UPDATE 1
Kierran is starting to respond and moving all extremities. Letting us know where the pain is by nodding. Eyes are opening more. Breathing almost in his own now. One step up! Many more to go.
UPDATE 2
Breathing tube is out and breathing on his own. Becoming more responsive. Excellent news
UPDATE 3
Kierran is progressing again. Alert more as the day goes by. Answering some questions when asked. Waiting for swelling to go down and the medications to make their way out of his system. Sleep is his friend until the swelling goes down.
UPDATE 4
CT Scan came back. Bleed is getting smaller. swelling no change yet but still good, but bleeding slowing down is a good thing.
UPDATE 5
Physio came in today sat Kierran up for 5 min and worked with him. Answered his questions they asked him. Still pooped from the brain trauma but more awake each day. On to the next step.
