I am starting this fund with a heavy heart on behalf of the Hernandez family.

It brings me great sorrow to announce that on the morning of Friday April 24th, Marijose Hernandez passed away.

Marijose had always been a fun, loving, and lively person. She enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, watching cartoons, going for walks, and animals. She is survived by her mother Imelda, father Alejandro, and two brothers Marco and Alejandro Jr. who all loved her dearly.

Marijose was born with the genetic condition trisomy 13. It is a chromosomal condition that not many people live with for more than a year. She had to have life saving surgeries starting as a baby and throughout her life. Despite the odds and with the continuous support of her family Marijose was strong and persistent. She passed at the age of 28. Those who met her always acknowledged her warmth and bubbly personality. Her family is currently grieving a tremendous loss.

I am asking for assistance in raising money to help ease the financial burden on the Hernandez family due to funeral arrangements. I do not want her family to be stressed with the cost of memorial services during their time of immense grief. Any support you are able to offer is greatly appreciated.
