Friends we need your help! Bruce was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) which is a cancer that starts from the early version of white cells called lymphocytes in the bone marrow (the softer inner part of the bone where new blood cells are made). This comes as a devastating blow to his beloved family. Due to his condition, Bruce has currently been unable to return to his job as a math teacher in the Oconomowoc School District.
He is receiving intensive chemo treatment which requires several months of care including extensive hospital in-patient care. The cost for medical expenses, not covered by insurance, are adding up very quickly. This precious family needs our assistance. The emotional shock of a cancer diagnosis and so many uncertainties are only compounded by the financial stress.
Bruce and his wife Ann met in 7th grade at Whitman Middle School and have been together ever since. They have been married for 30 years and they have two sons, Kyle and Troy. Bruce is kindhearted, giving and always there to help others, especially his students. He never hesitates to offer a hand or stay late to help one of his students with any questions or problems they may be having. He loves coaching in basketball and golf. Bruce was recently nominated to be inducted to the Wauwatosa West High School Hall of fame.
