Hannah Heflin, the beloved daughter of Tom and Kim Heflin and sister to Nicole, passed away Sunday evening, June 14th, in a tragic jet ski accident. She was just 22 years old and had recently graduated from K-State with a degree in psychology, excited to pursue her PhD. Hannah passed peacefully with her girlfriend, Annika Steinbach, by her side after 45 minutes of attempted resuscitation. The loss has left her family and friends heartbroken, as they face the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to someone so young and full of promise.
Hannah was resilient, intelligent, funny, kind, and loving. The mark she left behind is engrained in anyone she ever met. She loved animals, especially her kitten, Six, and was passionate about the things and people she cared for. Her warmth and spirit touched everyone around her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
We are seeking to help support the Heflin family with funeral costs and lawyer fees during this incredibly difficult time. Please join us in remembering Hannah and celebrating her life. Any support you can offer to her family is deeply appreciated as they navigate this loss.
