Support for the Halmas Family
Donation protected
On Saturday May 8th 2021, Jenie Halmas passed unexpectedly after giving birth to her adorable newborn daughter Jeyla the previous night, Friday May 7th 2021. Jenie was a loving wife to Sterling Halmas, devoted mother to Syrus and Julius, a beautiful daughter and youngest sister to four brothers, a kind friend and a dedicated social worker for the State of Hawai’i.
Jenie has been married to Sterling Halmas for 11 years. Sterling works hard to support his family and wanted his wife and children to have the best of everything. He is a medically retired veteran who served in the Marine Corps for 11 years and 11 months. He now works at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as an engineer.
After losing Jenie, Sterling is now the sole provider and caretaker of his 3 children. We are trying to raise money for Sterling to help with Jenie’s funeral expenses, the necessities that come with raising a newborn baby girl, to start a college fund for his children, and to support any extra needs as Sterling raises their 3 children. As a community, we want to help the family navigate through this difficult time in any way possible.
Please join us in supporting the Halmas family during this difficult time. We deeply appreciate any support that can be provided. We also encourage everyone to keep their family in their thoughts and prayers.
