Hello, my name is Amber Mower (Hackney), and I’m reaching out for support during a time of deep loss. It’s not easy for me to ask for help, but the gravity of this situation has compelled me to lean on our community, friends, and family.

On January 28th, my brother, Chris Hackney, tragically passed away at just 27 years old. After struggling with his mental health for many years, he left us far too soon. Whether you knew him personally or not, if you ever had the chance to connect with Chris, you would have seen his kind heart and his genuine care for the world around him. He truly wanted the best for everyone, and it breaks our hearts that he couldn't find peace.

In this time of grief, I’m asking for your help to alleviate some of the financial burdens that come with losing a loved one. The funds raised will go towards travel expenses for out-of-state family, missed wages from taking time off work, meals for our family in the weeks ahead, and, of course, the costs of laying Chris to rest.
