On February 1, 2025, the lives of my dear friend Amber and her beautiful daughter, Gemma, were turned upside down when Sean—Gemma’s dad—suffered a traumatic brain injury. In an instant, their world changed, and they are now facing an incredibly difficult road ahead.

Sean is currently in a rehabilitation program, receiving physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with vocational and neuropsych support. His recovery will be long and uncertain, requiring extensive care and therapy.

As the family’s sole provider, Sean’s injury has left Amber to juggle his medical needs, Gemma’s well-being, and the overwhelming financial burden of losing their only source of income.

If you know Amber, you know she is a warrior. She has battled Multiple Sclerosis for years with incredible strength and grace. But the stress of this situation is taking a toll on her health—yet she continues to push forward for her daughter. She is supermom to Gemma, a devoted homeschooling mama, a selfless friend to all, and a passionate activist in our community.

She has carried this weight on her own, navigating one challenge after another with resilience. But now, she needs our help.

Any contribution—no matter how small—is so needed and appreciated & will go directly towards covering essential living expenses, and ensuring Amber and Gemma have the support they need until Amber is able to start working outside of the home.
