Support for the Goss Family
Donation protected
Anyone who is fortunate enough to know Trevor & Wendy Goss, or their sons Brendon & Dillon, know that they are kind, generous people, who would move mountains for the ones they love. Unfortunately however, it is now they who need our help.
Christmas 2019 marked the beginning of a very difficult journey for the Goss family, with Trevor receiving a devastating diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). ALL is an aggressive type of cancer where the bone marrow makes too many lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell).
Trevor’s diagnosis was very sudden, and his team of Doctors acted quickly. With the ALL left untreated, Trevor’s prognosis was not good. So he began his first grueling round of chemotherapy immediately after diagnosis, and spent what should have been a joyous Christmas Day, receiving Chemotherapy to save his life.
Since then Trevor has spent a lot of his time in hospital receiving further treatment, with short stays at home permitted in between rounds, so long as he is extremely careful & for the most part, isolated. In the coming months doctors hope to provide Trevor with a stem cell transplant from a bone marrow donation, a major procedure that does not come without risk.
While all this is happening, Wendy’s sister, Georgina, is on the other side of the world in Scotland and desperately wishing to fly over to support her sister and her husband, however at short notice the costs involved are simply too great.
We would love to show our support for this family by helping to raise funds to assist them through this difficult time. If enough money is raised, we would love to fly Georgina out to Australia, to be by her sister’s side. All other funds will go towards helping the Goss family with the general expenses that come with serious medical treatment & hospital stays, and of course loss of income.
Whether it is $1 or $100, please know that any donation made, great or small, is forever appreciated, and will go towards helping a very special family through a very difficult time.
Thank you for your support.
